SAS936WCH Wireless Multi-Zone Hydronic Thermostat and Wiring Centre Kit delivers cable-free multi-zone control for heating-only or reversible heating/cooling systems. Part of the WHL Series Hydronic Thermostats, it features battery-powered RF thermostats that communicate wirelessly with the central wiring centre - eliminating control wiring and making it ideal for retrofits, historic buildings, and extensions. Supports up to 8 cascaded wiring centres for 64 zones. Modbus, Zigbee, and boiler/heat pump universal control included.

Product Features

Wireless RF Communication

Battery-powered RF thermostats (868/433MHz) eliminate all control wires between thermostat and wiring centre. Drastically reduces labor and material costs — especially where wall-breaking is impractical.
8-Unit Cascaded Expansion (Up to 64 Zones)

Up to 8 wiring centres can be cascaded. Slave units sync heat/cool mode with the master — only the master controls boiler/heat pump output. Enables seamless expansion from 8 to 64 zones.
Native Modbus Protocol

Native Modbus RTU (RS485) enables seamless BMS integration for centralized monitoring, fault diagnosis, and energy reporting — ideal for commercial and large-scale residential projects.

Optional Zigbee Module

Optional Zigbee 3.0 module connects thermostats directly to smart home hubs (Amazon Echo Plus, Samsung SmartThings). Enables cross-device automation — lowering heating when windows open, or integrating with lighting schedules.
One Kit for Boilers & Heat Pumps

Supports traditional boilers (heating only) and reversible heat pumps (heating + cooling). One SKU serves both floor heating and heating/cooling projects — reducing inventory complexity and procurement costs.
