The SCU217 8-Zone Cascading Wireless Wiring Center is a Master-Slave control master for large villas, multi-story residential properties, and light commercial spaces sharing a single heat source. Each unit handles 8 zones and expands to 64 independent heating zones via hardwired bus or LoRa wireless expansion modules. As a node within the SCU Series Wiring Center product family, it eliminates cross-floor cabling while providing unified boiler interlocking and centralized hydraulic management across multi-floor layouts.

Each SCU217 unit handles 8 zones and cascades to manage up to 64 independent temperature zones under a single shared heat source via Master-Slave logic. This enables multi-room and multi-floor control without separate control boxes or duplicate primary equipment.
Supports hardwired bus cascading for shielded conduits and long-range LoRa wireless expansion modules. LoRa wireless penetrates concrete slabs and masonry, eliminating cross-floor cable routing, drilling, and structural damage in retrofits or multi-level builds.
Terminal blocks provide connections for circulating pumps, valves, thermal actuators, room thermostats, hot water timers, and volt-free boiler interlocks. The interface supports various system configurations and boiler switching voltages.
When any room among the 64 zones demands heat, the central network coordinates zone valves and primary circulating pumps across all cascaded sub-units, ensuring fluid distribution without thermal lag or hydraulic imbalance across manifold networks.
Isolated volt-free (Dry Contact) output terminals interlock with central gas boilers, heat pumps, and primary circulation pumps across all cascaded units. The heat source operates only when at least one zone valve is fully open, preventing dry-running, short-cycling, and energy waste during partial loads.
DIN-rail compliant enclosure fits standard electrical distribution boxes and HVAC control cabinets. Screwless quick-fit structure.
